According to a government statement, two new executive decrees concerning the New City of Boughezoul, in the Wilaya of Médéa, were presented today by the Minister of Housing during the government meeting. The same source indicates that the two new decrees aim to modify the initial development plan of Boughezoul, by including the commune of Benhar in the Wilaya of Djelfa within the New City of Boughezoul, whose total area will increase to 19,500 hectares: “6,000 hectares are dedicated to urban planning and development, and 12,000 hectares to green spaces,” the government statement specifies, adding that the implementation of the two new decrees will allow the registration of new public utility projects for the new urban agglomeration.
